Moldovan president received letters of accreditation from ambassadors of Switzerland, Armenia

Chisinau, July 10. /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu today received the letters of accreditation of two new ambassadors: Félix Baumann, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation and Vladimir Karapetyan, Ambassador of Armenia, both residing in Kyiv, the presidential press service has reported.
During the official ceremony, the head of state talked to Ambassador Baumann about the very good bilateral relations, emphasizing that Switzerland is a reliable partner in promoting sustainable development, fighting corruption and ensuring security. Through the Cooperation Office in Chisinau, Switzerland contributes to the modernization of our localities, the infrastructure and the improvement of services in education and health, as well as to the promotion of cultural initiatives.
In the discussion with Ambassador Karapetyan, the president wished him success in his new mandate. The head of state expressed the importance of our countries developing closer economic and cultural relations in the future.
