Field tennis court built in Corlăteni, Râșcani, thanks to European Village program

Chisinau, July 20. /MOLDPRES/- Today's visit of Prime Minister Dorin Recean to northern Moldova began in Corlăteni village, Râșcani district, where through the European Village program, a modern tennis court was built. Also, thanks to the financial support of the government, the necessary equipment for the multi-functional sports stadium was procured, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The official appreciated the effort made by the local authorities to create conditions for the development of young people from the locality who perform well in this sports field and who previously had to go to Balti every day to practice tennis.
"Corlăteni village is a model locality in terms of modernization. It has an involved community, an active mayor and proper management of the town hall. They have implemented a number of important infrastructure projects - road construction, street lighting and connection to aqueduct and gas. They modernize the locality, offer new development opportunities to citizens and build Europe at home," said Recean.
The field tennis court is to be inaugurated on July 23. It is integrated into the multi-functional stadium in the locality, along with football, volleyball, fitness and a children's playground.
Corlăteni is a village in Râșcani district with a population of over 5 thousand inhabitants.
