Chisinau, 20 July /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists (BCS) walked out the parliament’s session hall as a token of protest today.
The lawmakers showed discontent about the fact that certain drafts or amendments proposed by the faction had not been backed in the parliament’s plenum. ‘’We boycott the today’s meeting, for reasons that our rights are obstructed,’’ the deputy head of the BCS faction, Vlad Batrincea, said.
In retort, the MPs of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) said the BCS’ initiatives ‘’are populist’’ and the lawmakers’ decision to walk out of the session hall showed ‘’lack of respect for the citizens.’’
