Meteorologists issue Yellow Code of atmospheric instability

Chisinau, 26 July /MOLDPRES/ - Meteorologists have issued a Yellow Code of atmospheric instability. It is valid starting from today afternoon till 27 July at 8:00.
According to the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS), on the concerned period, weather forecasters expect short thunderstorm rains, heavy rainfall in some regions of 15-25 litres/square metre, hail and storm with wind gusting up to 15-20 metres/second.
In case of Yellow Code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous, the forecast meteorological phenomena are usual for Moldova; yet, they may temporarily become dangerous for certain social and economic activities.
