Standing bureau completes agenda of last plenary meeting of Moldovan parliament's spring session

Chisinau, 26 July /MOLDPRES/ - The agenda of the last plenary meeting of the parliament’s 2023 spring session has been completed. The standing bureau approved the supplement at a today’s meeting.
Thus, the MPs will consider a proposal by the cabinet to extend the emergency state. Also, the lawmakers will examine, in the last reading, the legislative initiative on improving the mechanism of selection, evaluation and disciplinary liability of prosecutors, as well as the draft law on the state tax.
More drafts were included on the agenda, due to be considered in the second reading: an initiative legislative proposing the exemption of trade unions and employers from the payment of the state registration tax, the draft law on the ecological production and labeling of ecological products, as well as the amendment of the law on the prevention and combating of the domestic violence. Also in the second reading, the parliament will examine the ratification of more agreements, as well as the denunciation of agreements concluded on the platform of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The MPs will also consider, in the first reading, a legislative initiative implying the reformation of the social assistance system (Restart), the draft on the energy performance of buildings, as well as the amendment of the Law on the state’s security.
The last plenary meeting of the parliament’s 2023 spring session will be held on 31 July at 10:00.
