Chisinau, July 31. /MOLDPRES/- The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) will support the Moldovan government to implement key reforms in the public administration, energy and digital transformation. A new UNDP project worth one million dollars, announced today, will provide Moldova with expertise in essential fields in the context of its status as a candidate country for EU accession and in the conditions of multidimensional crises.
"The UNDP supports key reforms that all people in the Republic of Moldova will benefit from contributing to strengthening resilience to crises and accelerating the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals," said Daniela Gasparikova, UNDP Resident Representative to Moldova.
UNDP will help strengthen the Government's capacities to make proactive, risk-based decisions and develop evidence-based policies. UNDP will also support the implementation of the recently approved Public Administration Reform Strategy of the Republic of Moldova for 2023-2030, which aims to strengthen the capacities of local public authorities to provide essential services, including in crisis situations.
