Moldova to have embassy in India

Chisinau, 4 Aug. /MOLDPRES/- This autumn most likely in November, the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova will be opened in New Delhi. Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry made the statement. He paid a working visit to India this week and held a briefing today to announce the results.

"The opening of a diplomatic representation of our country in India was necessary a long time ago, but the implementation of this initiative will significantly contribute to deepening and consolidating Moldovan-Indian cooperation relations in areas of mutual interest", he said.

In 2022, the largest quantities exported to India were fresh apples and other fruits, as well as sunflower seeds and juices.
