Bronze medal and honorable mention for Moldova at European Junior Olympiad in Informatics

Chisinau, 14 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The Olympic team of the Republic of Moldova obtained a bronze medal and an honorable mention at the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics, held in Kutaisi, Georgia, on September 8-14.

The bronze medal went to Alexei Baca, student at Gymnazium No42 of Chisinau, and the honorable mention - to Anastasia Corsac, student at Orizont Theoretical High School of Durlești, Chisinau.

According to the Ministry of Education and Research (MEC), 96 students from 24 countries participated in the 7th edition of the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics. The Republic of Moldova was represented by three students, two teachers and three representatives in the international committees.
