TAROM airline of Romania introduces more Bucharest-Chisinau flights as of 24 September

Chisinau, 14 September /MOLDPRES/ - The TAROM airline of  Romania introduces more Bucharest-Chisinau flights starting from 24 September. The prices for one ticket begin with 85 euros. The airline today made statements to this effect.   

The airline will operate additional flights in each week-end, reaching up to 21 return flights per week.     

„The TAROM Company ruled to meet half-way the increase in the Chisinau-Bucharest relation, by supplementing the flights. The changes to the schedule of flights start as of 24 September and passengers can buy tickets including for the additional frequencies starting from today,’’ the press release reads.     

According to the quoted source, the prices for one ticket to or from Chisinau begin from 85 euros/segment with the cargo luggage of 23 kg and a hand luggage of 8 kg for free. All taxes are included and additionally, TAROM provides the check-in service free of charge.      

TAROM provides flexible connections for passengers from Moldova, through the Otopeni Airport from Bucharest, to 20 external destinations, of which five in the Middle East.  

More airlines have recently informed that they launched new flights from Chisinau. Thus, Air Baltic, one of the biggest low-cost companies of Europe, said it would launch the Chisinau-Riga flight starting from 2024. The Aegean Airlines company will operate the flight Chisinau-Athens as of next November, with two flights per week. At the same time, in late last August, the airlines Southwind Airlines, Israir and Azerbaidjan Airlines – AZAL announced the initiation of new direct flights to Chisinau.
