Construction of sewerage network in Nisporeni and Vărzărești to be completed next year

Chisinau, 18 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Over eight thousand inhabitants of Nisporeni and another four thousand of Vărzărești will benefit from access to the expanded sewage system by late 2024.

The works are carried out as part of the regional project Aqueduct Prut - Nisporeni. Evacuation of waste water from Nisporeni (stages II and III) and Vărzărești. "Through the development of the sewerage infrastructure, the service provided by Apă-Canal Nisporeni will be extended in these localities", indicates the Regional Development Agency (ADR ) Center.

According to the project documentation, 39.5 km of sewer networks with a diameter of 160 mm and 3.1 km of sewer networks with a diameter of 200 mm will be built.

The total value of the works provided for in the regional project is estimated at about 50.6 million lei (almost 2.53 million euros). The project is financed from the National Regional and Local Development Fund and co-financed by the local authorities.
