Ministry of Education and Research to purchase 60 school buses with Romania's support

Chisinau, 20 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Education and Research (MEC) will purchase 60 school buses for transporting general education students. It will be made with the support of the Romanian Government.

Thus, the MEC launched a tender for the procurement of transport units. The estimated value of the purchase exceeds the amount of 62.2 million lei (3.1 million euros). Offers are expected within 60 calendar days, starting on September 19. The vehicles offered must have an EU type approval certificate issued by the competent authorities in one of the EU member states.

The delivery of the vehicles will be carried out within a maximum of six months from the date of registration of the contract at the State Treasury. All cars delivered must be new, manufactured between 2022-2024. They will be fully equipped and prepared for commissioning.
