Chisinau, 20 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) has set up a list of about 60 varieties of grapes, which will be eligible for subsidizing investments from the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Environment. An order to this effect was issued by the MAIA and published in today's issue of the Official Journal.
Under the order, 20 vine species were included in the list of table grape varieties eligible for subsidies, including Arcadia, Cardinal, Codreanca, Alb de Suruceni, Ialovenschii ustoicivîi, Moldovan Kișmiș, Moldova, Victoria etc.
37 vine varieties were included in the list of grapes for wine, such as: Alb de Onițcani, Chardonnary, Cabernet blanc, Feteasca albă, Feteasca regală, Muscat alb, Pinot gris, Pinot blanc, Sauvignon blanc, Romanian Tâmiaoasa, Traminer rose, Viorica, Cabernet Sauvignon, Fetească neagra, Merlot, Malbec, Negru de Căușeni, Pinot noir, Rara neagra, Saperavi etc.
The proposal to draw up a list of grape varieties eligible for subsidies from the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Environment was sent to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry from the National Office of Vine and Wine, the order reads.
