Communists and Socialists Bloc faction MPs left parliament session

Chisinau, 21 Sep. /MOLDPRES/-Communists and Socialists Bloc (BCS) faction MPs left today's parliament session in protest.
They voiced their dissatisfaction that the proposals submitted to complete the agenda were not accepted and the state of emergency in the Republic of Moldova could be extended. "There are no issues of maximum importance for public opinion on the agenda, we are leaving this meeting as a sign of protest", BCS fraction head Vlad Batrîncea said.
Speaker Igor Grosu criticized the opposition's gesture, saying the deputies "were looking for an excuse to leave the meeting".
The Parliament convened in session today, and the lawmakers are to examine the Government's request to extend the state of emergency.
At the beginning of today's parliament session, acting General Prosecutor Ion Munteanu requested to lift immunity of MPs Irina Lozovan and Alexandr Nesterovschi. The legal committee on rules and immunities is due to meet to consider the matter.
