PHOTO Training hall of Moldova's Police Academy renovated, endowed with advanced equipment

Chisinau, 21 September /MOLDPRES/ - The hall for training in the field of defensive tactics of the students of the Interior Ministry’s (MAI) Stefan cel Mare Police Academy today was inaugurated, following the capital repair and endowment with the needed equipment with the support of the Government of the United States.     

According to representatives of the Stefan cel Mare Police Academy, following the renovation of the hall for specific training, the teachers will be able to exercise various tactical procedures.  

At the same time, for the tactical training of the future officers of Moldova’s law-enforcement bodies, with the rehabilitation and endowment of the hall, the students will be able to be trained in the field of tactics of intervention in risk situations when ensuring and reestablishing the public order. The space arranged and the special equipment will allow improvising different situations modeled with the use of special and active means, such as: shield, truncheon, lacrimogeneous gas, handcuffs, knife, pistol, with the essential diminution of the risk of injuring.   

Also, the Academy was endowed with modern equipment and accessories for the carrying out of trainings in the field of defensive tactics: tactical suits, bags for depositing accessories and ammunitions, equipment for the training of self-defense and intervention procedures, training means for situation of detaining, neutralization, passive and active, casts for white and fire arms.    

The renovation of the tactical training hall of MAI’s Stefan cel Mare Police Academy is part of the process of logistic reformation of the institution’s infrastructure.
