Over 560 neutral model diplomas apostilled by Moldovan authorities in last five years

Chisinau, 26 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Over 560 neutral model diplomas have been apostilled by Moldovan relevant authorities in the last five years.

According to the Reintegration Policy Office, in 2018 - 31 August 2023, 562 diplomas were apostilled in neutral format, the most requested destinations were: Italy - 117, USA - 90, Bulgaria - 57, Poland - 49, Israel - 48, France - 33, Austria - 26 and Great Britain - 20. Thus, the EU member states are the main destination for young people from the Transnistrian region to continue their studies, followed by the USA, Israel and Great Britain.

"Providing academic perspectives for a better future to young people from the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova and their integration into the European value system is a key priority in the country's reintegration policies," the Reintegration Policy Office said.

The measure is implemented on the basis of the Protocol Decision "Regarding the application of the apostille on study documents from the Transnistrian region" of November 25, 2017. The implementation of the apostille mechanism for the diplomas of the agreed neutral model, issued by Taras Shevchenko Transnistria State University was ensured in compliance with the rigors of the national normative framework.
