Ministry of Finance to have new head

Chisinau, 26 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Minister of Finance Veronica Sirețeanu is finishing her mandate. Today's cabinet meeting was the last one attended by the official. In the near future, the authorities will announce who will continue to hold the position. The information was presented today by government spokesperson Daniel Vodă.

"Today we had the privilege to thank Mrs. Sirețeanu for the work at the Ministry of Finance and the actions she promoted. At this stage, we are going to talk about the fact that Veronica Sirețeanu is at the end of her mandate. As soon as possible, as required by the legal procedure, we will announce the name of the person who will be the successor or the new minister who will enter the post. When the legal procedures are completed, we will come up with the notices of rigor, including the place where the oath-taking procedure and other related processes will be. Today was the last Government meeting in which Veronica Sirețeanu participated. The mandate ends tomorrow. We will come with details in the coming days", Daniel Vodă pointed out.

"We all know and want to congratulate Veronica Sirețeanu on the important mission she is taking on from here on out. This, on the other hand, means that he is here among us for the last time. Veronica, you're going, take care", said Prime Minister Dorin Recean at the end of the cabinet meeting.

Veronica Sirețeanu holds the position of Minister of Finance from mid-February 2023, with the swearing-in-office of Recean Government. The end of the mandate occurs in the context of Veronica Sirețeanu's departure on maternity leave.
