More accessible public services, by digitizing interaction between citizen and state

Chisinau, 26 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Government today approved the new regulations that facilitate the interaction of citizens with the public sector, through the use of digital tools. The document was set up by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization, with the support of the Electronic Government Agency, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

"The new regulations aim to revise the way of interaction between the beneficiaries and providers of public services, transforming the traditional interactions, on paper, into those carried out by electronic means", said Deputy Prime Minister Dumitru Alaiba, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization.

Thus, identity cards, driving licenses and registration certificates will be digitized. If these documents currently exist on material support, the new regulations aim to obtain a digital version. Using the EVO app, every person will be able to keep, open and present the digital version of their identity card, driver's license and registration certificate.

Citizens will be able to submit online the request for the current registration of means of transport, and certificates and registration plates will be able to be delivered to applicants via MDelivery.

It will also be possible for the notary to submit the application for registration of sales-purchase contracts and other documents related to property, without physical presence at the Public Services Agency.

The new provisions also exclude the need for the mandatory presentation of proof of the electronic signature for documents submitted through the integrated file management program, the verification to be carried out automatically etc.
