Moldovan speaker meets Commissioner for Human Rights of Azerbaijan

Chisinau, 26 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Igor Grosu had a meeting today with Commissioner for Human Rights of Azerbaijan (Ombudsman) Sabina Aliyeva. The officials spoke about the challenges on the promotion and respect of human rights both in the Republic of Moldova and at the regional level, in the context of the Russian aggression in Ukraine, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.

Sabina Aliyeva is in our country to participate in the International Conference on the 25th anniversary of the Office of the People's Advocate (OAP).

In this context, Grosu appreciated the mutual support on sovereignty and territorial integrity in internationally recognized borders.
