Chisinau, 28 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- In Dublin Speaker Igor Grosu had a meeting with a group of Moldovans residing in Ireland, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
"Even though we saw each other a few months ago, we really wanted to see each other this time to discuss the latest events at home", he said.
Grosu spoke to them about the priorities for this end of the year and that the Parliament, along with the government and presidency are working so that one day, Moldova becomes a member country of the European Union, so that our villages and towns look like in European Union. "For this we need justice reform, good laws for all our people regardless of whether they are at home or in the diaspora, investments and unity," said Igor Grosu.
Grosu urged the diaspora representatives to continue to be involved and support Moldova in its European path, noting that this autumn elections are another important stage on our path to joining the EU.
