Moldovan president welcomes script writer, film director, producer Jonathan Nolan in Chisinau

Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today welcomed in Chisinau script writer, film director and producer Jonathan Nolan, on a visit to Moldova at an invitation by the Culture Ministry, the presidential press service has reported.

The discussions were focused on opportunities of development for the creative industries in Moldova, ways of support and cooperation to encourage the local production, as well as for attracting international projects.

The Moldovan president expressed gratitude to the team of Jonathan Nolan. United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Government of the USA for the support provided to enhance the visibility and attractiveness of Moldova in far-reaching cultural projects and for the creation of friendly conditions for young professionals from creative sectors to fully assert themselves in Moldova, as well as in important international projects.
