Ukrainian president awards Moldovan speaker

Chisinau, 29 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded Speaker Igor Grosu with the Order of Grand Prince Yaroslav the Wise. Chairman of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk handed out the distinction yesterday at the European Conference of Speakers of the Council of Europe member states, held in Dublin, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.

The distinction was awarded for significant contribution to strengthening interstate cooperation, supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. "The Republic of Moldova will continue to be with our neighbors and friends in Ukraine because the victory of Ukraine is the victory of the free world", Grosu said.
