Moldova's Agency for Energy Efficiency checks thermal stations working on biofuel from public institutions

Chisinau, 30 September /MOLDPRES/- The Agency for Energy Efficiency (AEE) verifies the degree of preparation of the thermal stations working on solid biofuel from the public institutions, before the beginning of the 2023-2024 heating season.    

AEE director Ion Muntean has visited two public institutions which use thermal stations working on solid biofuel, in order to analyze to what extent they are prepared for winter. Muntean went to the Faguras kindergarten from the Cruglic village, central Criuleni district, attended by 125 children and the health centre from the Morozeni settlement, central Orhei district.    

Also, during the visit, decision-makers unveiled measures of preparation for the heating season for ensuring a good work of the heating system. The proper preparation for the heating season is essential, in order to make sure that the station working on solid biofuel works optimally, with low costs and lesser impact on the environment.      

According to AEE, by observing certain measures, the holder of such stations can fully benefit from the advantages of the solid biofuels and contribute to the reduction of the carbon emissions, as well as to the increase in the degree of the energy independence.
