Moldovan athletes won two silver, four bronze medals at European Wrestling Championships

Chisinau, Oct. 6 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan athletes won two silver and four bronze medals at the European Belt Wrestling Championships.
According to the Ministry of Education and Research, Victor Bolohan (+76 kg) and Liviu Maluda (+100 kg) climbed to the second step of the awards podium at the continental competition held in Baku, Azerbaijan. Two bronze medals were won by Igor Beșleăgă, one in freestyle and another in the classic event. Also, the bronze medals were obtained by Vitalie Colioglo (68 kg) and Olga Moldovan (66 kg).
In the general ranking, the Republic of Moldova ranked third, out of the 18 participating countries.
