Moldovan deputy premier meets EU ambassadors accredited to Chisinau

Chisinau, Oct. 6 /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Nicu Popescu had a meeting with EU ambassadors accredited to Chisinau.

According to the MAEIE press service, the meeting took place in the context of sending the latest update on the implementation of the European Commission's recommendations and the EU enlargement report. This report will mark a historic stage, reflecting Moldova for the first time.

"We discussed the significant achievements and progress since the last report in June 2023 and thanked the European partners for the support in the EU accession process. I also informed the EU ambassadors about the public consultation of the National Plan for Accession - a document that represents an essential stage for our country's European path, replacing all previous steps and which clearly reflects our national goal: to prepare the Republic Moldova for joining the EU by 2030", he said.
