Chisinau, 7 October /MOLDPRES/ - The National Forum of Teachers takes places today. The event is organized at an initiative by President Maia Sandu, along with the Education Ministry, the presidential press service has reported.
The head of state came up with a message to those 400 teachers, professors, support teaching staff, school managers, national and local trainers, young specialists, as well as students who will graduate the university this year.
The special guest of the forum is Mircea Miclea – author, psychologist, educator, entrepreneur, former education and research minister of Romania.
„The initiative to annually organize this forum comes namely from the need to look together for solutions, which are to help children grow up responsible and fulfilled adults. Both in 2012, when I accepted to take over the office of education minister, and now, one decade later, I believe that, without education, a country cannot grow, cannot be either free or strong and developed. The education which we provide to the children at present will influence the quality of life of the next generations, as well as the state’s capacity to provide all of us good conditions for living in the upcoming decades,’’ President Maia Sandu stressed.
