National sports tourism centre under construction in central Moldova district

Chisinau, 13 October /MOLDPRES/ - The works on construction of the objects within the regional project, Anenii Noi – national sports tourism HUB, are to be finished till next spring, the Centru Regional Development Agency (ADR Centru) has reported.

According to the quoted source, presently, the works are carried out according to the execution plan and their quality was confirmed by the technical employee, contracted by the Agency.

„Within this ambitious project, the works of construction of the building were carried out, which, according to the applicant, will serve as centre for the training of the national Olympic teams of triathlon, cycling, motor cross and kayak-canoe and will work as Academy for children. The works of setting the indoors networks are carried out at present. At the same time, the works of construction of the platform for start were finished and progress was made in terms of setting the track for cyclists and MBX. The coach informed about the plan on the continuation of the works of embankment and arrangement of the area adjacent to the constructions carried out,’’ ADR Centru said.

The project is implemented by ADR Centru and is financially backed with over 28 million lei (1.4 million euros) from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL).
