European Village programme: construction of water supply system in Chisinau municipality's settlement finished

Chisinau, 13 October /MOLDPRES/ - The project on construction of the water supply system in the Truseni village, Chisinau municipality, has been finished within the European Village National Programme. The works cost 9.8 million lei (500,000 euros) allocated by the government.

According to the National Office of Regional and Local Development (ONDRL), 6.5 km of exterior water networks were built. They will facilitate the distribution of water to the residents’ households.

At the same time, to ensure a proper pressure of water and uniform distribution, a pumping station was constructed, endowed with last generation technology.

Also, the community will benefit from two water reservoirs, which will provide water for the peak hours and emergency situations.
