Chisinau, Oct. 13 /MOLDPRES/- A group of members of the Communist Party (PCRM), led by PCRM deputy Veaceslav Nigai, left the party, and the communist parliamentarian also left the Communists and Socialists Bloc (BCS).
According to the MP, his further status within the Parliament will be that of "politically unaffiliated deputy".
"During the last year, dissensions arose between us and the party leadership regarding the election and collaboration with some so-called leftist parties. Because of my refusal to participate in some actions with these parties, in December I submitted a request for resignation from the position of PCRM deputy head and my exclusion from the executive. Recently I also resigned from the position of president of the Territorial Organization of the PCRM in Căușeni. We do not want to participate in political games with the so-called left-wing political parties, which are led by oligarchs and runaway thieves," he said.
Veaceslav Nigai was elected deputy in the parliamentary elections of 2021 on the list of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists, being nominated by the PCRM.
