Moldovan boxer won European Cup in boxing

Chisinau, Oct. 15 /MOLDPRES/- Boxer Alexandru Paraschiv won the European Cup in boxing. The competition took place in Budva, Montenegro.
178 boxers from 33 countries participated in this year's edition.
According to the Ministry of Education and Research, the representative of the Sports Center passed the Italian boxer Gianluigi Palanga in the finals of the up to 67 kg category, after defeating the Russian Tarhan Idigov in the semi-finals.
Another boxer, Vasile Cebotari, ranked second in the weight category up to 75 kg. He lost in the final to Russia's Djambulatu Bizhanov.
Ianuș Caravan also took the podium at the European Cup, who ranked third in the weight category of up to 63.5 kg.
