Over 200 Moldovan, American servicemen to participate in Aurochs Partner - 2023 exercise

Chisinau, 24 October /MOLDPRES/ - Over 200 servicemen of the Fulger special battalion of the National Army and the Army of the United States will participate in the Aurochs Partner – 2023 exercise.
According to the chief of the exercise, Veaceslav Corcodel, the Moldovan-American exercise Aurochs Partner will take place at the training centre of the Decebal Aviation Regiment from Marculesti on 25-30 October this year.
According to the scenario, the military will make parachute jumps in the perimeter of the areas nearby settlements from the Floresti, Falesti districts and Balti.
Also, units of military technology of the National Army, as well as a military aircraft of the North Atlantic Alliance, C-17 Globemaster, will be involved in the training.
The goal of the trainings is to develop the capabilities and enhance the level of interoperability between the servicemen participants, as well as to implement the modern techniques, ways and procedures of individual and collective military training.
The Moldovan –American exercise Aurochs Partner-2023 takes place in line with the plan on preparing for action of the National Army for this year.
The Defence Ministry informs that, during the holding of the exercise, the military technology involved in trainings will move on roads of the Floresti, Falesti, Balti and Sangerei districts.
