MPs took note of resignation of CNA head

Chisinau, Oct. 26 /MOLDPRES/- Parliament today took note of the resignation request from the position of director of the National Anticorruption Center /CNA/ submitted by Iulian Rusu.
With the end of the term of office of the CNA director, the mandates of the institution's deputies – Vadim Cojocaru and Alexandr Pînzari – also cease by law.
The decision enters into force on upon adoption.
Under the legislation, the CNA director is appointed by the Parliament, with the vote of the majority of deputies, for a five-year term. His candidacy must be proposed by at least 20 MPs, with the approval of the legal committee on rules and immunities.
