„The document contains about 1,200 concrete actions or laws which we should adopt in the process of our county’s accession to EU in those 33 chapters of policies through which we structure the process of adjusting our legislation to the rigours and needs of the status of EU member. The adoption of this plan is made on the last period in the preparation of the EU’s enlargement report, which is to be presented by the European Commission on 8 November. On the immediately next period – today, next week, we will continue informing the European Commission about the measures which get Moldova closer to the status of EU member. Our goal is that, in this European Commission’s report, we get an invitation to start the negotiations on accession to EU. Subsequently, in next December, the EU member states are to set forth their opinions on this invitation. In any case, we in Moldova prepare for the launch of the negotiations on accession to EU,’’ Nicu Popescu said.
