Rosian Vasiloi after resigning from office: It was honor to lead Border Police of Moldova

Chisinau, Nov. 8 /MOLDPRES/- It has been an honor to lead the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova. The statement was made by Rosian Vasiloi, who resigned as head of the General Inspectorate of Border Police (IGPF).
He thanked the team for dedication and professionalism, as well as the partners who constantly contribute to the institutional development of the Border Police.
"It was a difficult period, the most difficult in the history of the Republic of Moldova, but in which the institution I led faced the challenges. I thank the colleagues from the internal affairs system and from the defense and national security system with whom I have worked during this period. The only interest I had and will continue to have, was the interest of the country and the citizen", Rosian Vasiloi wrote on a social network.
Rosian Vasiloi has been IGPF head since 2021. In mid-September, he was recognized as a suspect in committing the crime of negligence in the case of the double murder at the Airport. As a result, the official said that he will submit a report and seek an unpaid leave for a period of more than 30 days.
