Six settlements of north Moldova district, camp connected to water main Soroca-Balti

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/ - The construction and assembly works for the supply with drinking water of six settlements and a leisure camp from the northern Soroca district, through their connected to the Soroca-Balti water main, have been finished. The works were carried out within a project on regional development implemented by the North Regional Development Agency (ADR Nord) from sources of the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL).
„Works of construction and assembly of a water main with a length of 30.5 km were carried out within the project. Over 20,000 residents from six settlements and 1,500 children from the La Dumbrava camp will benefit from the new water and sanitation supply system. On the next period, the reception at the completion of the works within the project will be organized,’’ the quoted source said.
The overall value of the project, Water – foremost need for a qualitative life in the North Development Region, is of 32.82 million lei (1.64 million euros), of which 29.27 million lei – allocated from FNDRL. The Soroca district council contributed 3.55 million lei (10 per cent of the project’s overall value).
