New equipment of personalizing vehicles' registration numbers to be used in Moldova

Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Public Services Agency (ASP) today informed about the setting in operation of a new equipment of personalization of the registration number for vehicles. It was activated by representatives of the UTAL Company (Poland), on a working visit to ASP.   

The specialized equipment NFC Secure Plus is a solution which ensures the management and control of the operations carried out by the operator, reduces the degree of human intervention, thus enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of the operations in the process of producing the registration plates.   

„The software programmed carries out the automatic verification of the data introduced, making sure that the information on the registration plates is correct and in accordance with the standards established. At the same time, the new equipment provides information in real time about the stage of the production process, facilitating the immediate detection and correcting of any infringements or problems. Thus, through removing the human errors, the need of repairing the scraped plates is reduced, which leads to the enhancement of the efficiency and minimalizing of the material losses,’’ ASP said.       

UTAL Sp. z o.o. Company of Poland was nominated winner of the contest for the procurement of registration plates for vehicles and tows for the period 2023-2025, announced by the Public Services Agency in 2023. The company is world leader in the production of registration plates. Presently, it delivers registration plates to over 60 countries from all over the world. In 2023-2025, the UTAL Sp. z o.o. Company is to deliver 540,000 sets of registration plates for the personalization of the registration numbers of all types.
