Chisinau, 17 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Department of Morphopathology of the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) has been endowed with an advanced scanner Pannoramic. Attending the event were the DRRM’s state secretary, Adrian Dupu, USMF Rector Emil Ceban, pro-rectors, members of the Department of Morphopathology, heads of departments, resident students and physicians.
USMF Rector, professor Emil Ceban said the donation was of major importance for the university, teaching staff and students. ‘’They will use modern and advanced technologies in the education process. The scanner will allow carrying out scientific researches in the field for diagnosis and treatment. We thank the government of Romania for support. We rely on a sustainable cooperation,’’ Emil Ceban said.
For his part, the DRRM’s state secretary, Adrian Dupu, said the scanner would ease the work of the teachers, residents and researchers. ‘’I am happy that, following discussions, we managed to support USMF Nicolae Testemitanu in the quality education, which cannot be carried out without an advanced equipment. This is the first project implemented at the university; yet, we want to continue to develop the education in Moldova,’’ Adrian Dupu said.
The scanner’s value is of about 60,000 euros.
