Moldovan law-enforcers make searches in file on illegal financing of political parties, money laundering

Chisinau, 18 November /MOLDPRES/ - Law-enforcers, along with anticorruption prosecutors on 17 November evening made searchers in a file opened based on the constitutive signs of the offence of ‘’illegal financing of political parties, initiative groups, electoral contenders, committed in large amounts,’’ as well as ‘’money laundering committed by an organized crime ring in particularly large amounts.’’

According to the General Police Inspectorate, the raids were made by employees of the National Investigations Inspectorate, along with the ones of the Balti-based Police Inspectorate, under the leadership of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office (PA).

The law-enforcers stressed that they would come up with details today.
