Truck driver dies at Moldova's customs checkpoint

Chisinau, 18 November /MOLDPRES/ - A truck driver died at a customs checkpoint of Moldova today morning.
According to the Customs Service, a truck carrying potatoes from Belarus entered the customs checkpoint for control at about 08:45. At 09:40, the control procedure was finished and the driver was moving to the truck, when he all of a sudden fell down.
„The intervention of emergency medical services was demanded on the spot; they undertook actions of resuscitation, but unfortunately, they ascertained the death of the 60-year-old man, citizen of Moldova, who would have a heart arrest,’’ the customs authority said.
Police bodies document the case, in order to establish all circumstances.
