CEC: Over 85,000 citizens voted by 11:00 a.m.

Chisinau, Nov. 19 /MOLDPRES/- Over 85 thousand citizens (10.08% of voters) voted in the runoff elections by 11:00 a.m.
According to the Central Electoral Commission, of the total number of voters, 44,293 (51.1%) are women, and 42,518 (48.80%) are men.
The most active voters are people between 56 - 65 years old, with over 26,000 votes cast - 29.44%. At the same time, the most passive voters are young people between 18 - 25 years old, with 2,914 votes cast, which represents 3.27%.
In 273 localities in the country, the runoff election is taking place today. In total, 839,239 people are expected at the polls. The first preliminary data on the election results will be available at 22:00.
