Moldovan parliament appoints members in commission for external evaluation of prosecutors

Chisinau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today nominated two members of the commission for external evaluation of prosecutors.
The two members are Tatiana Raducanu, put forward by the Faction of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) and Cornel Lebedinschi, put forward by the Faction of Block of Socialists and Communists (BCS).
Tatiana Raducanu was judge at the Chisinau Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Justice, member of the disciplinary college of judges of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM). She also acted as head of the Administrative Board of the Legal Resources Centre of Moldova and member of the Supreme Security Council.
Cornel Lebedinschi has degree in jurisprudence and worked at the Interior Ministry of Moldova.
The commission for external evaluation of prosecutors is made up of six members, appointed with the votes of three fifths of the number of MPs elected. Three candidacies are put forward by development partners and the others – by the parliamentary factions, with the observance of the proportional representation of the majority and opposition.
