Romanian health minister visits Emergency Medicine Institute

Chisinau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/ - Health Minister of Romania Alexandru Rafila, along Health Minister of Moldova Ala Nemerenco paid a visit to the Emergency Medicine Institute (IMU) from Chisinau today.

The officials visited the Emergencies Reception Unit, the operating room and the intensive therapy section. Also, the ministers discussed with some of institution’s medical employees the difficulties in the health systems.

Among the subjects tackled, there are also the investments in the public medical and sanitary institutions, which included the endowment with last-generation equipment and renovation of hospitals; regionalization of the highly advanced services; importance of the exchange of good practices between specialists from Romania and Moldova.
