Danish delegation to visit Chisinau

Chisinau, Nov. 28 /MOLDPRES/- Parliament will host the visit of a delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Denmark. The Danish officials will be in Moldova on November 29 - December 1.

Danish deputies planned meetings with Speaker Igor Grosu, head of the foreign policy and European integration commission Doina Gherman and members of the commission. The visit's agenda includes a meeting with President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu, as well as discussions with some members of the Government - Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, and Minister of Justice Veronica Mihailov-Moraru.

Current issues will be addressed, including the security situation in the region, Moldovan-Danish cooperation and the European path of the Republic of Moldova.

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Kingdom of Denmark were established on January 20, 1992.
