Five localities in northern Moldova to benefit from state funding for revival and development

Chisinau, Dec. 7 /MOLDPRES/- Regional Development Agency (ADR) North has signed six financing contracts for revitalizing and developing infrastructure in Soroca municipality and Sângerei, Drochia, Dondușeni and Fălești cities.

The projects were included in the Single Program Document for 2022-2024, approved by Government Decision. They are to be implemented by ADR North, according to the Decision of the National Council for Coordination of Regional Development, of October 2023, and the annual Plan for implementation of the National Strategy for Regional Development (2022-2028), in coordination with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, from the sources of the National Fund for Regional and Local Development and from the contributions of the beneficiaries.

"It is about the projects, submitted in the Competition for identification, evaluation and approval of urban development projects, economic and social revitalization of cities: creation and development of the technical-building infrastructure for Soroca sub-zone of Ungheni-Business Free Economic Zone; new educational opportunities for preschool children of Soroca."
