Chisinau, Dec. 8 /MOLDPRES/- Termoelectrica company asked the National Agency for Energy Regulation to reduce the tariff for 2024 for the thermal energy delivered to consumers in Chisinau by 15 percent and by 8 percent of electricity price. Company's interim director Iurie Razlovan made the statement today.
ANRE head said that the request was made "given the new rules on the methodology for calculating tariffs and prices approved by ANRE in October this year and the decrease in the weighted average price of natural gas forecast for 2024 compared with the price of natural gas included in the existing tariff". "I have already submitted the request to ANRE. It will examine the information and make a decision", he said.
Currently, the thermal energy tariff paid by consumers in the capital is 3,267 lei for one gigacalorie. It was established this June, when the price dropped by 310 lei for one gigacalorie.
