Over 400 wines to be exhibited at Wine Vernissage, 20th edition

Chisinau, Dec. 8 /MOLDPRES/- Over 70 winemakers united under the country brand Wine of Moldova. A living legend will exhibit around 400 wines at Wine Vernissage, the 20th edition. The event will be held on December 15 at the Palace of the Republic and will traditionally be dedicated to sparkling wines, selected wines and spirits.

Over 100 new wines produced from the 2023 harvest will be launched at the event, as well as some blended wines from previous wine years.

The Wine Vernissage, winter edition, also traditionally hosts the Divin Salon, a special section dedicated to Moldovan wine distillates.

Visitors will have the opportunity to taste and evaluate the 92 medal winning wines at the Wine of Moldova contest. They were evaluated by a jury made up of international experts and were produced from domestic varieties and new Moldovan selection.

The event is organized by the National Vine and Wine Office, with the support of USAID Moldova, through the Rural Competitiveness and Resilience Activity.
