Moldovan authorities in charge of removing consequences of last November snowfall heard in parliament

Chisinau, 8 December /MOLDPRES/ - The parliamentary commission for national security, defence and public order today heard the authorities in charge of the removing of the consequences triggered by the last late November heavy snowfall.
The meeting was held with closed doors and in the end, the head of the aforementioned commission, Lilian Carp, made statements.
Representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office, national single service for emergency calls 112, of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations and the state enterprise, State Administration of Roads, were called to discussions.
They referred to the way the authorities had intervened in removing the consequences of the heavy snowfall from the end of last November.
More roads were covered with snow in late last November and two persons died, after their vehicle had got obstructed by snow drifts. A criminal file was initiated in this case.
