Customs policy for 2024 to be amended

Chisinau, 14 Dec. /MOLDPRES/- Parliament is to consider amendments to customs policy for 2024. The parliamentary commission on economy, budget and finance approved today a report on draft amending some normative acts.

The draft law aims to adjust the provisions of the Fiscal Code to improve its regulations, as well as to ensure full harmonization of customs legislation with European Union legislation.

Thus, nine normative acts are to be amended, including the Customs Code, the Contravention Code, the Enforcement Code, the Law on regulation of entrepreneurial activity by authorization etc.

According to the authors, the amendments are focused on customs procedures and administrations.

The draft law is worked out by the Ministry of Finance.
