Moldovan Presidency inaugurates Christmas Tree, opens doors for visitors

Chisinau, 14 December /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu, the employees of the presidential administration and their children, as well as groups of carols singers turned on the lights of the Christmas Tree on 13 December evening.
According to the presidential press service, the people present at the holiday entertained along with a group of artists from the Licurici Republican Puppet Theatre and listened to carols sung by children of several folk bands and vocal ensembles, who wished everybody a prosperous and peaceful year.
„On the period of the winter holidays, we should find more time to show our care for the beloved people and the community. This year, the government launched the campaign, Come Home on Christmas, in all settlements. The local public administrations from our villages and cities are prepared to organize nice holidays and to turn to good account the local artists and the traditions of the region. The happiness of being at home on Christmas warms our souls and gives us hopes for the future,’’ President Maia Sandu said.
Just as each year, all people willing to admire the Christmas Tree at the Presidency can do this starting from today till 15 January 2024. Visitors will have access starting from Monday till Friday during 17:00-19:00 and during 12:00-15:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
