Agroindustrial College in Râșcani to be modernized as part of Livada Moldovei project

Chisinau, 18 Dec. /MOLDPRES/- Construction works of the didactic laboratory for the processing and quality control of essential oils have started at the Agroindustrial College in Râșcani. The laboratory will be equipped with furniture, machinery, IT equipment and an essential oil extraction facility, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) has reported.

In the first phase of the project, the agricultural machinery, necessary for planting, harvesting and maintaining the lavender and sage areas, was delivered.

The investments are made as part of Livada Moldovei project, implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry with the support of the European Investment Bank. The value of the investments is over 465 thousand euros.
