"Nicolae Testemițanu" USMF researchers received 24 awards at specialized exhibition

Chisinau, Dec. 19 /MOLDPRES/- The inventions presented by the inventors and researchers of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Nicolae Testemițanu" at the international specialized exhibition "Infoinvent-2023" were appreciated with 24 awards, including 21 medals, 3 trophies, diplomas and special mentions from the State Agency on Intellectual Property of Moldova.
The team of inventors made up of Gheorghe Anghelici, Oleg Crudu, Serghei Pisarenco, Gheorghe Lupu and Andrei Grib won the AGEPI Grand Prize "Best Invention" for the work "Method to reduce portal hypertension for the treatment of patients with cirrhosis hepatic".
Valeriana Pantea, researcher of Biochemistry Laboratory received the trophy for "The best invention created by a female inventor", for the invention "Method of assessing the influence of biologically active substances on the capacity to produce hydrogen sulphide by a biological tissue".
PhD student Pavel Leahu and academician Stanislav Groppa became laureates in the "Best research project" category, with the project "Multifocal repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation in the treatment of migraine patients".
The team represented by Eugeniu Valic, Vladimir Valic and Ion Mereuță received the "Special Award" Diploma, for the work "Method of visualization of the 3D model of the mammary gland and its tumor by illuminescence for didactic purposes through the Brilum-Can 3D model", awarded by "CorneliuGroup" association of Romania.
About 450 inventions, innovative projects and creative products were exhibited at the event. Their authors come from the Republic of Moldova, Romania, China, Poland, France, Malaysia, Cambodia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Switzerland, Ukraine and Belgium.
